Your next industrial build awaits in Bristol, TNOpSource has partnered with an industrial construction firm based in Kingsport, TN to add a Plant Power Distribution & Controls Electrician to the team for a Bristol, TN job site.

Role snapshot

Compensation: $28.00 – $33.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, First Shift;
Overtime as required

Location:

Job site in Bristol, TN (partner company HQ in Kingsport, TN)
Core responsibilities

Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and code to plan equipment and raceway layouts.

Install, replace, and repair wiring, receptacles, boxes, conduit, feeders, and associated components.

Perform electrical testing (continuity, current, voltage, resistance) and verify system integrity.

Install, service, repair, and test switch gear, transformers, and switchboard meters.

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical and low-voltage control systems and related devices.

Follow OSHA and company safety protocols; report policy or guideline violations to the supervisor.

Maintain and account for company tools; ensure post-task cleanup and tidy work areas.

Coordinate efforts with building principals and supervisory personnel to meet project objectives.

Qualifications3–5 years in an industrial environment as a Journeyman Electrician (installation and maintenance focus).

Demonstrated proficiency bending conduit.

Experience troubleshooting electrical equipment and power distribution; skilled at reading specs and prints.

Ability to develop accurate material lists.

Comfortable working ives under time-sensitive, high-pressure conditions.
