Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a lovely opportunity for a professional and reliable Housekeeper Cook to support a warm family with two young children aged four and five, residing in a four-bedroom home in Bristol. is a vibrant and family-friendly city, well known for its green spaces, excellent schools, and strong community feel. The family are seeking a trustworthy and well-organised professional who can take pride in maintaining a clean, structured home environment while providing simple, healthy meals suitable for a pescatarian household.

The principals value strong house organisation skills, a positive attitude, and a high standard of professionalism, including the requirement for an enhanced DBS.

This is a live-out position based in Bristol and is easily accessible by public transport, making it a convenient role for candidates living locally or within nearby areas of the city. Bristol offers excellent transport links and amenities, allowing for a straightforward commute.

Working as a Housekeeper Cook in a private family requires a thoughtful balance of housekeeping expertise and confident family-style cooking. This role is ideally suited to a candidate who enjoys creating order within the home, managing daily cleaning routines, and preparing nutritious pescatarian meals. The successful professional will be comfortable working independently, with flexibility to assist with occasional child-related duties, such as school drop-offs and pick-ups, and light pet care for the family’s small dog.

Optional personal assistant tasks and contractor coordination may also form part of this varied and rewarding position.

Working Days: Three days per week, preferably Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
Working Hours: Nine hours per week, three hours per day with flexibility, ideally from 10:00 to 13:00

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the four-bedroom property, including regular cleaning and tidying
• Managing laundry and ironing, ensuring clothing and household linens are cared for correctly
• Organising cupboards, storage areas, and the refrigerator to maintain an orderly household
• Preparing healthy, no-meat pescatarian meals for the family, tailored to their preferences
• Carrying out grocery shopping and basic household supply management when required
• Coordinating contractors on occasion and overseeing access to the property
• Providing optional support with school drop-offs and pick-ups, using a personal vehicle where required
• Assisting with optional personal assistant duties as agreed with the principals
• Walking the family’s small dog on occasion and providing basic pet care
• Working in a discreet and professional manner at all times, supported by an enhanced DBS and self-employed status

Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper Cook job:

• Three or more years of private housekeeper cook experience
• Two excellent checkable references
• Conversational English
• UK working permit
