Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Room Leader (Level 3 in early years childcare) to join our team in St Albans. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to join a friendly team and develop their skills.

Responsibilities:

Manage and lead a team of nursery staff to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery room

Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in your care

Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and programs for children

Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being

Drive continuous improvement in the quality of childcare provided

Oversee daily routines, including meals, naps, and playtime

Maintain accurate records of children's development and activities

Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team

Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Proficiency in English language

A passion for working with children and fostering their growth and development

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a nursery setting and possess strong leadership skills to manage a team effectively.
