Part Time, Permanent positions available

We are looking to recruit Waking Nights Care Assistants at our Children’s Home in our Short Breaks service.

The role will support the care and development of up to 4 children/young people away from their family homes, alongside a staff team to cover all hours in a homely environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support the care and development of up to 4 children/young people.
  • Assist with upkeep of the home.
  • Complete administrative tasks.
  • Be available to children/young people if they wake during the shift.
  • Share overall responsibility for the efficient running of the Residential home under the general supervision of Senior Residential Child Care Workers, in accordance with current legislation and Department policy.
  • Participate in a rota pattern and be willing to work bank holidays.
