We are looking to recruit Waking Nights Care Assistants at our Children’s Home in our Short Breaks service.
The role will support the care and development of up to 4 children/young people away from their family homes, alongside a staff team to cover all hours in a homely environment.
Responsibilities- Support the care and development of up to 4 children/young people.
- Assist with upkeep of the home.
- Complete administrative tasks.
- Be available to children/young people if they wake during the shift.
- Share overall responsibility for the efficient running of the Residential home under the general supervision of Senior Residential Child Care Workers, in accordance with current legislation and Department policy.
- Participate in a rota pattern and be willing to work bank holidays.
