Teacher Active is working with welcoming and supportive nurseries across Bristol who are seeking caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Level 2 Early Years Practitioners / Nursery Assistants to join their teams.

⭐ Key Responsibilities

Plan and support engaging, age-appropriate activities

Assist in delivering the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum

Support children aged 0–5 with learning and development

Help create a safe, stimulating indoor and outdoor environment

Observe children’s progress and contribute to learning journals

Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

Promote safeguarding, health, and wellbeing at all times

Requirements

✅ Level 2 Early Years Qualification (CACHE, NVQ, Level 2 Diploma in Childcare or equivalent)

✅ Minimum 6 months’ experience working in a nursery or early years setting

✅ Knowledge of the EYFS framework

✅ A positive, nurturing, and proactive attitude

Experience as a Nursery Assistant, Early Years Practitioner, Childcare Assistant, Preschool Assistant, or Nursery Nurse is highly desirable.
