Teacher Active is working with welcoming and supportive nurseries across Bristol who are seeking caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Level 2 Early Years Practitioners / Nursery Assistants to join their teams.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and support engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Assist in delivering the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum
• Support children aged 0–5 with learning and development
• Help create a safe, stimulating indoor and outdoor environment
• Observe children’s progress and contribute to learning journals
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Promote safeguarding, health, and wellbeing at all times

• ✅ Level 2 Early Years Qualification (CACHE, NVQ, Level 2 Diploma in Childcare or equivalent)
• ✅ Minimum 6 months’ experience working in a nursery or early years setting
• ✅ Knowledge of the EYFS framework
• ✅ A positive, nurturing, and proactive attitude
• Experience as a Nursery Assistant, Early Years Practitioner, Childcare Assistant, Preschool Assistant, or Nursery Nurse is highly desirable.
