Room Leader (Level
3) – Up to £29,800
The nursery is a small, calm setting has a child-centred approach to early years care. You will lead a room team, support quality standards, and help maintain a stable, nurturing environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
It is set in a peaceful location with large outdoor space and a separate building for pre-school children. The setting cares for children aged 3 months to 5 years, with bright, airy rooms for babies and toddlers and a dedicated area for older children.
Before You Apply- This role requires recent, relevant experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner in a nursery setting.
- Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent) and be confident leading a small team.
- Candidates must be comfortable working independently at this level and managing day-to-day room responsibility.
- Salary: Up to £29,800
- Hours: 45 hours per week
- Contract: Permanent, full-time
- Lead a room within a small, stable nursery setting

- Plan and deliver age‑appropriate learning and development activities
- Support and mentor room staff, helping maintain consistent practice
- Monitor children’s progress and share updates with parents and the management team
- Maintain compliance with safeguarding and early years standards
- Contribute to room‑level planning and nursery‑wide quality improvement
