We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join a welcoming nursery setting in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is committed to providing outstanding care and education while leading and inspiring a team within the nursery room.

Your Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day running of your nursery room
Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences in line with the EYFS
Support and mentor nursery practitioners within the room
Plan engaging activities that promote children's learning and development
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment
Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times
Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements
Essential
Level 5 Early Years/Childcare qualification, or
Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification with a minimum of 5 years' experience in an Early Years setting
Previous experience in a senior practitioner, room leader, or leadership capacity
Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework and safeguarding practices
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A caring, proactive, and professional approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK
Desirable
Experience leading a nursery room
Experience supporting staff development and mentoring colleagues
Knowledge of nursery management systems and record keeping
