Requirements to be a Senior Residential Support Worker:
Essential QCF/NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care Minimum of 1 years experience working in Care. Full UK manual drivers licence Minimum age 22 Passion to make a difference Strong communication skills and a team player Ability to remain calm and patient under pressure Basic IT skills Flexibility for shift work, including weekends & sleep ins Able to act as a positive role model Ability to Shift Lead in a residential setting Basic knowledge of Statutory requirements & regulations Good understanding of Health & Safety, and risk assessments Desirable Level 3 qualification specific in Health & Social Care Children & Young People Registered with Social Care Wales or must register within initial 6 months in residential care
Experience of working with children
Experience of residential childcare Welsh Speaker
