We’re looking for a passionate and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team at our Shirehampton nursery. If you’re committed to delivering exceptional early years education and high quality care, we’d love to hear from you.
Our setting is bright and spacious, and we take pride in our well‑resourced, large outdoor area that children (and practitioners!) love to explore. We also benefit from a generous onsite hall attached to the nursery, giving us even more space for active play, group activities and learning experiences.
What we’re looking for:- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Strong understanding of the EYFS
- A warm, positive and child‑centred approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Passion for supporting children’s learning and development
We believe great people deserve great perks. When you join us, you’ll enjoy:
- Your birthday off
- Free uniform
- Complimentary meals when dining with the children
- Christmas closure – you’ll never work between Christmas and New Year
- All bank holidays off
- 28 days annual leave
- Clear progression routes
, with internal promotion wherever possible - Extensive training and CPD
, helping you grow your career - Time back for meetings, training or events held outside nursery hours
We offer a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience, alongside a supportive, friendly team environment.
As this role involves working closely with children, an enhanced DBS check is required. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
