Assistant Manager

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week) working 5 days over 7
We are proud to be partnering with this prestigious client to recruit an experienced and driven Asssistant Manager to join their high-profile catering and events team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional to take ownership of multiple catering areas within a diverse and dynamic environment. You will lead from the front - overseeing day-to-day operations, driving performance, and delivering exceptional food service experiences to both internal stakeholders and external guests.
The RoleAs Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of your designated catering areas. This includes full accountability for team leadership, financial performance (P&L), marketing initiatives, compliance, and service excellence.
You will play a key role in shaping the direction of the catering offer - identifying opportunities for innovation, embedding continuous improvement, and ensuring consistently high standards across all operations.
A highly visible role within the site, you will build strong relationships with internal departments, senior leadership, and external stakeholders, using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate effectively.

You will bring:
- Proven experience in catering or hospitality operations, ideally including events
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire, develop, and manage teams
- Strong commercial awareness, including experience managing P&L and driving performance
- A track record of innovation, continuous improvement, and implementing effective solutions
- Confidence working with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external
- Excellent organisational and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other systems
- A commitment to maintaining high standards and consistency across teams
- Relevant qualifications in food safety and health & safety
