Join ADAS, part of the RSK Group, to work as a Seasonal Ecologist. These are fixed‑term contract positions for six months throughout the busy spring and summer period, beginning in March / April, with the potential to convert into a permanent role for the right candidates. Positions are based in Bristol.

These roles are full of variety and our Ecology business comprises a highly skilled team focused on providing services to a wide range of clients, particularly developers, utility companies, and the renewable energy and rural industries. It’s a great opportunity to start your ecology career, working with experienced ecologists on a variety of surveys and projects. We aim to get each Seasonal Ecologist involved in all aspects of ecological consultancy – from quoting to surveys and the follow‑on reporting.

Support and mentoring will be provided at all stages.

• Carry out a range of ecological surveys (skills dependent) and assist senior colleagues with other surveys to develop your skill set
• Carry out desk studies, consultations, research, data management and analysis, and report writing
• Deliver work efficiently to meet agreed timescales and quality standards

• Enthusiastic individual keen to develop an ecology career
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle*
• Someone open to flexible working with regard to the type of work, timing and location, including night and weekend work as required
• Experience with European Protected Species survey work (not essential)

• £23,809.50 per annum (full‑time equivalent)
• Working 37.5 hrs per week
