The Asbestos Analyst & Surveyor Apprentice will work under the supervision of experienced asbestos consultants, carrying out surveys, air sampling, analysis, project management and client consultancy across domestic and commercial sites in the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with clients and team members.
- Travel across the UK to conduct air monitoring and site works.
- Gather and analyse air samples in accordance with current health and safety guidance.
- Report findings to clients.
- Work evenings, weekends and away from base when required.
- Starting salary of £20,500 per year.

- Full UK driving licence required.

- Have lived in the UK for at least 3 years.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
You prefer hands‑on site work, are comfortable in construction, demolition or industrial settings, and enjoy travelling and changing locations.
You take safety seriously, work to strict procedures, and do not cut corners. You remain calm and focused in regulated environments, handle audits and inspections efficiently.
You are practical, learn by doing, and are comfortable using technical equipment and PPE. You can work independently when trained and communicate clearly with supervisors.
You value clear expectations, stability and career progression, aiming to grow into roles such as surveyor or analyst.
What the Apprenticeship IncludesOver 12 months, you will gain hands‑on experience in asbestos surveying, air monitoring and clearance, supported by structured training with expert tutors ining combines online sessions, in‑person workshops and on‑site practice, with a dedicated mentor.
You will spend at least 6 hours a week on off‑the‑job training, including virtual learning and practical assignments.
Additionally, you will work toward the RSPH Level 3 Award in Asbestos Air Monitoring and Clearance Procedures, and the P402, P403, P404 qualifications for asbestos surveying and clearance.
Successful completion can lead to further professional recognition, such as a Registered Science Technician qualification.
Completion equips you with skills to conduct accurate, compliant asbestos surveys, air monitoring and clearance testing, and positions you for future advancement within the industry.
