Introduction
Tetra Tech is looking for an Apprentice to join our Geo‑environmental Team, the role can be based in Bristol or Cardiff. The position will suit someone with a real interest in geology and contaminated land who enjoys a balance of office and site work and travelling.

You’ll Do
You’ll be working both in the office and on site, with activities that could include:
- Site‑based environmental monitoring such as water and soil sampling
- Site‑based support for our ground investigation projects
- Preparing information and undertaking assessments to support environmental desk study appraisals and subsequent assessments
- Environmental data entry and management, becoming familiar with industry data formats including software packages for the management of geotechnical and geo‑environmental data
- Geological appraisal
- Working individually (with supervision) or as part of a site team
- Helping prepare factual reports
Successful completion of this course will enable you to confidently advance in this industry. You could progress your skills further by training as a chartered geologist or scientist.
