This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer with experience working on diesel engines, who is looking to join a leading UK company where you will have the opportunity to increase earnings through overtime and progress your skills.

The Role:

• Planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of generators, fault finding i.e. control panel, AC/DC electrical systems, genset synchronization
• 17.25 p/h basic, 39hrs per week - 8:00am to 16:30 Monday to Thursday, 15:30 finish Friday (1 in 4 weeks on call rota with standby rate)
• Overtime 1.5x - paid from 6:00am to 8:00am, then 16:30pm to 00:00pm/ 2.0x paid 00:00 to 6:00am
• SW patch, based out of the Bristol depot (patch covers down to Cornwall, up to Swindon, across to Bournemouth and South Wales) no overnight stays required
• Electrical training can/will be provided

The Person:

• NVQ in plant maintenance/equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience working on diesel engines (generators, plant equipment, coaches/buses etc)
• Full, UK driving license
• Looking to develop your skills through industry specific training and courses.
