Fire Alarm Service Engineer – Bristol & Surrounding Areas

As the face of the company, you will ensure the safety and compliance of our clients' systems. Your responsibilities include:

• Servicing & Maintenance: Routine upkeep of various open protocol fire alarm systems.
• Fault Finding: Diagnosing complex issues and providing efficient, long‑term solutions.
• Small Works: Carrying out minor installations and remedial works identified during servicing.
• System Auditing: Identifying system age, condition, and non‑compliances to ensure sites meet British Standards.

Your deep understanding of Open Protocol systems is essential, including:

• Panels: Advanced, Morley, Kentec, EDA, Haes, and C-TEC.
• Wireless Technology: Experience with EMS and Hyfire is highly preferred.
• Standards: Robust working knowledge of BS 5839.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years dedicated fire alarm servicing experience.
• Licence: Full UK Driving Licence (Essential).
• Mindset: Ability to work independently, manage your own local patch, and communicate effectively with site managers and residents.
• Added Value: Experience with AOV systems, Emergency Lighting (EML), Fire Extinguishers, or Refuge Systems is advantageous.

• Competitive Salary: 42k+ per annum, dependent on experience.
