Mobile Plant Fitter Bristol £38,000- £45,000 basic salary Van, overtime availability, 23 days holiday plus banks, holiday buy back scheme, pension scheme, bonus scheme and more Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team. This role involves working on a wide range of plant machinery, including excavators, dumpers, loaders, telehandlers, and more. The position is based in Bristol and covers the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of plant machinery. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults. Perform inspections to ensure machinery is safe and compliant with regulations. Provide on-site support to clients, ensuring minimal downtime for their equipment.

Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and any additional recommendations. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Adhere to health and safety standards at all times. Qualifications Proven experience as a Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Engineer, or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of plant machinery, including excavators, dumpers, loaders, and telehandlers.

Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Relevant qualifications in engineering or mechanics (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent). Full UK driving license. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and customer service skills. Day-to-Day Travel to client sites in Bristol and surrounding areas to perform maintenance and repairs. Inspect and test machinery to identify issues and ensure optimal performance.

Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot faults. Replace or repair faulty components and ensure machinery is operational. Provide expert advice to clients on the care and maintenance of their equipment. Collaborate with the team to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
