Smart Meter Dual Fuel Engineer

This role will be within our Metering team – you’ll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, offering efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters.

• Exchange traditional meters for smart meters, responding to emergency and maintenance appointments on behalf of
  
  E.ON NEXT.
• Ensure all jobs are completed on time and customers understand the benefits and safe usage of their new smart meter.
• Perform installation and ongoing maintenance of smart meters in customers’ homes (approximately 5 jobs per day).
• Travel within your area using a tablet to view daily jobs, with a schedule available up to two weeks in advance.
• Complete work consistently, meeting health and safety requirements and contributing to continuous improvement.

• Valid UK driving licence held for at least one year with less than six points.
• Experience installing gas and electric smart meters.
• CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 with MET1, or NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering Dual Fuel.
• Previous MOCOPA experience to a multi‑rate level.
• Bonus qualifications such as REGT1 (Medium Pressure) and 3 phase, and ideally registration on the EUSR portal.

  Dual Fuel (3 phase/CT) – £40,117 with annual safety and attendance bonus of £2,000 (split payment every six months).
