Fire and Security Service Engineer

What you will do

Provide exceptional engineering services to customers across system maintenance and service delivery for CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm, and Fire Systems. Own all engineering service activities, planned and preventative maintenance, and respond to technical call‑outs. Coordinate with internal teams and customers, maintain communication, and keep accurate paperwork and billing records. Support the team with expertise, work proactively, independently, and as part of a wider team.

Participate in the on‑call rota to provide 24/7 engineering support.

• Collaborate with customers, project management teams, and internal stakeholders to develop and deliver system requirements and solutions.
• Manage system maintenance tasks and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
• Ensure solutions and services meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Complete all project and service‑related documentation to meet business timelines and operational standards.
• Adhere to Johnson Controls’ procedures and Health & Safety policies.

• Integrated enterprise‑level systems experience: CCTV, Intruder Alarm, Perimeter Detection, Access Control, Video Intercom, Fire Systems.
• Hands‑on experience with technologies:
  Genetec, Gallagher, Milestone, FLIR Latitude, Pro Watch, Commend.
• High‑end CCTV camera experience:
  Bosch, Axis, Optical/Thermal imaging.
• Grade 3 Intruder Alarm installation experience:
  Galaxy, Texecom, and peripherals.
• Familiarity with Senstar Omnitrax/Fibre Patrol and Fibre Optic systems (desirable but not essential).
• Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally with customers.
• Self‑driven, enthusiastic, and able to work independently.
• Professional demeanor and customer‑centric approach.
• Must be able to achieve and maintain government‑level SC clearance.
