We are looking for a 2nd Fix / Finishing Carpenter responsible for detailed interior carpentry work once the main structural elements are complete.
Pay: £26/hour. Start ASAP. Duration: 2 weeks. CSCS card required. Free parking available.
Key Responsibilities- Install internal doors – hanging doors, fitting ironmongery, adjusting hinges and latches.
- Fit skirting & architraves – cutting, mitering, and fixing trims to a high standard.
- Install flooring – laying engineered wood, laminate, or hardwood flooring.
- Cabinet and unit installation – fitting kitchen units, built‑ins, wardrobes, and shelving.
- Finishing work – sanding, adjusting, and ensuring all work is clean and precise.
- Proven experience in second‑fix or finishing carpentry.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, fixings, and materials.
- Ability to work to tight tolerances and maintain high standards.
