Electrical Field Service Engineer
£36,000 | Company Van Provided | Field‑Based Electrical Role | Overtime Available |
Permanent
- £36,000 basic salary
- Company work van provided
- Tool allowance
- Monday to Friday, 45‑hour working week
- Paid overtime at 1.25x
- No weekend working
- UK‑based engineering business delivering service and support solutions to industrial and infrastructure clients
- Specialises in electrically driven automated systems used within transport and vehicle environments
- Provides installation, servicing and long‑term maintenance support
- Operates a regional field engineering model with repeat client relationships
- Stable field‑based electrical engineering role covering consistent regional sites
- Hands‑on work across service, installation and maintenance
- Clear working pattern with overtime available but no weekend requirement
- Opportunity to work on large, fixed automated systems rather than high‑volume call‑out work
- Electrical installation, servicing and maintenance of automated mechanical systems
- Fault‑finding and repair activity on site
- Planned preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Supporting upgrades, commissioning and system modifications
- 18th Edition qualified Electrical Engineer (essential)
- Proven field service experience carrying out electrical work
- Background in electrical maintenance, installation or service environments
- Comfortable working independently as part of a regional field team
- Field‑based role covering sites across the North of England
