We have an opportunity for an experienced Plumber to join our Anglian Water Developer Services team, supporting the installation and exchange of internal water meters within customers' homes across the region.
Reporting to one of our Supervisors and Field Performance Managers, you'll be responsible for installing new water meters, exchanging existing meters and replacing older smart meters where required. Alongside this, you'll play an important role in helping customers better understand and manage their water usage, supporting Anglian Water's commitment to improving water efficiency.
This is a customer-facing role where no two days are the same, combining your plumbing expertise with excellent customer service to deliver a positive experience for our customers.
Here are some of the activities you will be involved with...
- Installing, exchanging and removing internal water meters within customers' properties
- Relocating existing meters and carrying out minor plumbing repairs where required
- Investigating and resolving customer issues relating to meter installations
- Undertaking water efficiency visits and providing advice to customers on reducing water consumption
- Responding to emergency works and customer requirements as needed
- Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Maintaining accurate records and completing all required documentation
- Complying with all relevant health and safety legislation, company procedures and client requirements
We would love to hear from you if...
You are an experienced plumber and hold an NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification, although other relevant qualifications will be considered).
You will be self-motivated, organised and comfortable working independently, managing your own workload and delivering excellent service to customers. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach are essential, as you'll be working in customers' homes on a daily basis.
A full UK driving licence is required.
