07:30 – 17:28 (45 hours per week)

Rate: £300 per day

We are currently recruiting for an experienced M&E Mechanical Fitter to join the team on a National Grid substation project s requirement has arisen due to additional project capacity and will involve working within a live transmission environment, supporting mechanical installation activities to strict National Grid standards.

• Mechanical fitting and installation within a high‑voltage substation environment
• Supporting M&E installation works in line with project specifications
• Working as part of a coordinated site team under site supervision
• Operating in accordance with National Grid safety rules and procedures
• Supporting and supervising lifting operations (Lift Supervisor ticket required)
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality on site

• Valid National Grid Persons (NG Person) authorisation
• Valid Lift Supervisor ticket
• Relevant mechanical fitting qualifications and competency tickets
• Previous experience working within National Grid or transmission substation environments
• Full and correct PPE prior to site attendance (mandatory)

• 45 hours per week
• Inside IR35 engagement
• Candidates must be able to comply with site drug and alcohol policies
