Overview
Electrician / Fibre Technician. Contract role in Water / MEICA / Industrial Engineering sector. We’re currently looking for an experienced Electrician / Fibre Technician to join a major industrial engineering project.
Responsibilities- Working as part of the site installation team, responsible for both electrical and fibre optic installations across the treatment works.
- Industrial electrical installation works
- Installation of containment (tray, ladder, trunking and conduit)
- Installing and terminating SWA, multicore and control cabling
- Fibre optic cable installation and routing
- Fibre optic termination and testing
- Installation of fibre patch panels and communications cabinets
- Wiring control panels, PLC panels and MCCs
- Installation of pumps, motors, instrumentation and associated equipment
- Fault finding and commissioning support
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- ECS Gold Card
- Industrial electrical installation experience
- Experience installing and terminating fibre optic cabling
- Experience with control cabling and industrial communications
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Long-term contract opportunity
