Field Service Technician- Regional

Elevation Recruitment Group's Engineering Services Division are supporting a long standing client within the Automotive Equipment sector to recruit a Field Service Technician to join their growing team.

The Field Service Technician will support with the installation and servicing of automotive workshop equipment, including tyre changers, wheel balancers, and alignment systems. The Field Service Technician is a regional role and will cover areas including Bristol, Swindon, Reading, and Andover.

The Field Service Technician is a key customer-facing role, working with garages, dealerships, and automotive service centres. You’ll ensure equipment is installed correctly, fully operational, and maintained to the highest standard—helping customers maximise uptime and efficiency. Key Responsibilities for the Field Service Technician include:

• Install, commission, and calibrate tyre changers, wheel balancers, and alignment equipment
• Perform diagnostics, fault-finding, and on-site repairs on electro-mechanical systems
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and safety inspections
• Respond to breakdown calls and resolve issues efficiently to minimise downtime
• Deliver basic operator training to customers following installation
• Complete service documentation and reports accurately
• Maintain strong customer relationships and deliver excellent service
