Salary: £43,680 Basic + £1,575 Annual Standby Payments + Door-to-Door Travel Pay

We're working with a well-established and respected service provider in the commercial refrigeration sector, known for their reliability and technical expertise. With over 25 years in the industry, they support a diverse range of clients across retail, healthcare, education, and more.
Due to the retirement of a long-serving engineer, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their solid and well-established team. This is a rare opportunity to become part of a business with excellent staff retention and a strong reputation within the industry.
The Role
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
* Servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial refrigeration systems such as cold rooms, chillers, freezers, and display units.
* Carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
What We're Looking For
* Experience working on commercial refrigeration equipment.
* F-Gas Certification (essential).
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (preferred).
* CO2 refrigeration experience is desirable but not essential.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Confident in diagnostics and fault finding.
The Package
* £43,680 basic salary
* £1,575 annual standby payments (1 in 6 call-out rota)
* Door-to-door travel paid
* 40-hour working week
* Overtime paid at 1.5x (Monday-Saturday) and 2x (Sundays & Bank Holidays)
* 33 days holiday (25 days + 8 Bank Holidays)
