The RoleAn established independent garage in Bristol is looking for a skilled MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician to join their friendly and professional team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-equipped workshop with a strong local reputation for quality and customer care.
You’ll be responsible for carrying out MOT tests (Class 4 & 7 preferred), servicing, diagnostics, and general repair work on a wide range of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct MOT tests in line with DVSA standards
- Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs
- Diagnose faults efficiently using modern diagnostic equipment
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard
- Maintain accurate records and comply with workshop processes
- Valid MOT Tester licence (preferred but not essential for the right Technician)
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Full UK driving licence
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- Monday to Friday working – no weekends
- Early finish every Friday
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays
- Additional time off over the Christmas period
