Carpenter / Fire Door Maintenance Engineer

£38,000 - £40,000 + Company Benefits
We are looking for an experienced Carpenter / Fire Door Maintenance Engineer to provide a comprehensive fire door maintenance service across Bristol and surrounding area.
Working closely with a large client, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing fire doors, ensuring all works comply with current legislation, Building Regulations and required standards as well as dealing with Carpentry maintenance tasks such as skirting, architrave, door locks and hinges.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance and repair works on fire doors across a large hospitality contract.
- Ensure all works comply with current Building Regulations, fire door legislation and relevant standards.
- Assess individual jobs and prepare accurate quotations detailing labour hours and required materials.
- Liaise directly with clients regarding queries and provide clear explanations of technical requirements and product specifications.
- Inspect completed works and certify that fire doors meet the required standards.
- Complete and submit all relevant certification and documentation for client records.
