We are a growing Fire & Security specialist delivering installation, service, maintenance, and commissioning solutions across commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential environments. With an excellent reputation for quality and customer service, we are looking to expand our engineering team with an experienced Fire & Security Engineer based in the Bristol area.
The RoleReporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of a wide range of fire and security systems. The successful candidate will work across various client sites, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and comply with current industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and commissioning of fire alarm systems
- Servicing and maintenance of fire and security systems
- Fault finding and repair of fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems
- Testing and inspection of systems to ensure compliance
- Diagnosing and resolving system faults efficiently
- Completing all service reports and documentation accurately
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with industry regulations and company procedures
- Providing excellent customer service on client sites
- Maintaining company equipment and vehicles in good condition
- Liaising with customers, site managers, and internal teams
- Adhering to all Health & Safety requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Fire & Security Engineer
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems
- Experience carrying out installation, service, and maintenance works
- Ability to diagnose faults and provide effective solutions
- Good understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- FIA qualifications desirable but not essential
- ECS/CSCS Card desirable
