Accounts Senior – East Bristol
Clark Wood is working with a progressive and growing firm of Chartered Accountants in East Bristol who are seeking an ambitious Accounts Senior to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) looking to take ownership of a varied client portfolio, gain exposure to advisory work, and progress their career within a supportive and dynamic environment.
As an Accounts Senior, you will manage your own portfolio of clients, predominantly large owner‑managed businesses (OMBs), providing a mix of compliance and advisory services.
Key responsibilities will include:- Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as their main point of contact
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
- Delivering management accounts and financial reporting
- Providing proactive business advice and support to clients
- Assisting with tax planning and commercial projects
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff
- Be ACA / ACCA qualified
- Have experience working within an accountancy practice environment
- Be confident managing client relationships and handling a portfolio
- Demonstrate strong technical and organisational skills
- Be career‑driven and keen to progress within a growing firm
