We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide exceptional care in a dynamic clinical environment. Required Skills:

• Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology
• Valid Virginia Medical License and DEA registration
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in Hematology/Oncology
• Proficiency with Epic/Beacon EMR system
• BLS certification
• Ability to manage a patient volume of 13-15 patients daily
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience with solid tumors and malignant hematologic conditions
• Familiarity with outpatient infusion services
• Previous experience in a multidisciplinary team setting
• Additional certifications such as ACLS are a plus

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• At least 2 years of post-residency clinical practice in Hematology/Oncology
• Prior experience with adult patients in outpatient settings

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, negotiable days
• Support staff include APPs, nurses, pharmacists, and specialized healthcare professionals
• No travel required; days off are negotiable
• Position includes clinic coverage only, focusing on solid tumors, malignant hematologic conditions, and common issues like iron deficiency anemia
• Emergency privileges will be requested; no licensure beyond Virginia
