We are seeking a highly qualified Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide expert care in a dynamic, collaborative environment. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive clinic-based oncology and hematology services, supporting a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for adult patients with various malignancies and hematologic disorders. Your expertise will help manage a busy patient load in a supportive atmosphere, working alongside advanced practice providers, specialized nurses, pharmacists, and support staff.

Required Skills:

  • Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology
  • Valid Virginia medical license
  • DEA certification for Virginia
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Hematology/Oncology
  • Proficiency with Epic/Beacon EMR systems
  • Excellent diagnostic, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have

Skills:
  • Experience with solid tumors and malignant hematologies
  • Prior experience with bone marrow transplant protocols
  • Familiarity with clinical research or trials
  • Advanced proficiency in patient counseling and education
Preferred

Education and Experience:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • At least 2 years of post-residency practice in Hematology/Oncology
  • Prior outpatient clinic experience with adult patients
Other Requirements:
  • Virginia state medical license
  • Emergency privileges may be requested
  • Willingness to support clinic operations Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • No travel required; all billable travel expenses will be reimbursed as applicable
