About the Position
Experienced Hematology/Oncology Physician – Excellent Opportunity to Make a Difference
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Hematology/Oncology Physician and play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to adult patients with complex hematologic and oncologic conditions. Required Skills:
Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology
Valid Virginia State Medical License
BLS Certification
Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience
Proficiency in EMR systems, specifically Epic/Beacon
Strong patient management and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have
Skills:
Experience with solid tumors and malignant hematologic conditions
Familiarity with infusion therapies and common oncologic procedures
Prior experience working in outpatient clinic settings
Additional certifications or training related to oncology care
Preferred
Education and Experience:
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Residency or fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology
Prior clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting involving adult hematology and oncology patients
Other Requirements:
Virginia medical license and DEA registration
Eligible for emergency privileges
Willingness to work weekday clinic hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This role involves supporting a team consisting of APPs, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals in managing 13-15 patients per day
No travel required; all travel reimbursements (including airfare, hotel, rental car, mileage) are billable
Day shifts only, with a pay rate of $507/hour
