Teacher of Design Technology

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of OCR A Level Design & Technology:
Design Engineering to become part of our high-performing and supportive team, where success and innovation drive everything we do.

As a Teacher of D&T your passion for the subject and commitment to delivering high-quality teaching will inspire our students to reach their full potential and take confident steps toward achieving their aspirations.

We are looking for an innovative and inspirational classroom practitioner who would work collaboratively with the team and who can motivate students to engage with the subject and participate actively in lessons. As a committed and dedicated teacher, you will contribute to all aspects of the curriculum, ensuring students benefit from a high-quality learning experience.

• Be passionate about your subject.
• Inspire students to develop confidence in their design skills.
• Demonstrate how design and technology can be transferred into all aspects of everyday life.
• Use technology, CAD & relevant IT skills and practical skills to bring the curriculum to life.
• Bring a ‘can do’ and ‘will do’ work ethic.
• Set high expectations and foster a culture where students respect others and their physical surroundings.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant field.
• Experience delivering highly engaging and inspirational lessons is beneficial, but fresh graduates ready to take their first steps into education are encouraged to apply.
• A willingness to grow professionally and thrive in a rewarding teaching role.

This role would ideally start in May 2026.
