School Supervisory Assistant

Overview

We are looking to appoint two School Meal Supervisory Assistants. 7.5 hours per week, term-time only (Monday to Friday 11:45am–1:15pm). Pro Rata: BG3 £ 24,413 Pro Rata. This gives an actual starting salary of £4,032.19 p/a.

Under the direction of the Lunchtime Leader, supervise pupils on the school site throughout the lunchtime break. The role will include supporting young children to eat their lunch and organising and participating in playground activities.

Internal and external training will be provided on all aspects of the role, including First Aid. The successful candidates will have the ability to work effectively and enthusiastically as part of a team, engage effectively with the children, extend them in purposeful activities and enhance their social skills whilst having fun. You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to create a positive, inclusive environment.
