Job DescriptionAlternative Learning Lab Instructor main job responsibilities are serving as the In‑School Suspension Teacher. The teacher will monitor all alternative learning labs and supervise in‑school learning, providing an alternative educational setting for students who need additional assistance with classroom assignments and behavioral intervention. Associates degree required.
Terms of EmploymentEffective: 2026‑2027 school year
Salary: Commensurate with education and experience (range $16.30 to $23.44 per Hour)
Pay Scale: In‑School Suspension Instructor’s Pay Scale
Benefits: VRS pension, life insurance, medical/dental insurance, sick and personal days
