Job Details

We are seeking to appoint a committed, resilient and highly motivated Inclusion Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join Blaise High School and become an integral member of the Pastoral team, making a significant difference to the lives of young people who face significant barriers to attendance and behaviour. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a bespoke timetable and supporting students to successfully reintegrate into mainstream school.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a tutor and key adult for identified students.
  • Teach an adapted core and wider curriculum to individuals and small groups.
  • Provide targeted academic and pastoral support.
  • Develop positive relationships with students and their families.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to secure the best possible outcomes for young people.

  • Demonstrates a genuine passion for education and a commitment to improving the life chances of all students.
  • Has the temperament and resilience to remain calm under pressure.
  • Holds an unwavering belief in every child’s ability to succeed.
  • Is fully aligned with the vision, values and ambitions of Blaise High School.
  • Is proficient in using data to inform decision‑making, or is willing to develop this skill.
  • Is committed to working collaboratively with families, colleagues and external professionals.
  • Has excellent communication, organisational and relationship‑building skills.

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Evidence of or commitment to continuing professional development
