Primary Supply Teacher (PRISUPTEACH) Bristol, England

Affinity Partnerships are looking for qualified teachers in multiple schools in the Fishponds and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate should feel comfortable with teaching KS1 and KS2 and be confident at the front of the classroom and have strong subject knowledge.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified teacher (or hold an equivalent teaching qualification).
  • Deliver consistently strong teaching within their subject area.
  • Support the needs of all learners, including SEND, pupil premium, looked‑after children and high attainers.
  • Communicate effectively, embrace change and build positive relationships with students, staff and families.
  • Contribute to enrichment opportunities beyond the classroom.
  • Demonstrate strong professional practice and support the development of others.

The successful applicant:

  • Has Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Has a sound understanding of Primary Education.
  • Has excellent literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Has confidence supporting the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
  • Has experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum.
  • Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour.
  • Has experience of working with children with a range of additional needs, including Autism, Speech and language difficulties, and other SEND students, both in small groups and 1:1.
  • Has a positive approach and is flexible to the demands of the job.
