You will work alongside teachers, pastoral staff, and senior leaders to create a positive learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and able to succeed.

No two days are the same, and while the role can be challenging at times, it is incredibly rewarding for those who are passionate about making a lasting impact on young people's lives.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of behaviour support plans.
  • Encourage pupils to achieve their academic targets and personal goals.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, parents, and external agencies where required.

  • Are proactive, enthusiastic, and able to use their initiative.
  • Possess strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Can remain calm, patient, and resilient when faced with challenging situations.
  • Have experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals (school-based experience is desirable but not essential).
  • Have an understanding of SEMH needs, behavioural challenges, or trauma-informed approaches (desirable).
  • Are committed to helping pupils achieve both academically and emotionally.
  • Can work effectively as part of a team while also being confident working independently
Important Information
