Field Service Engineer

Salary: GBP
35000 - GBP
45000 per annum + Vehicle + Benefits + Bonus

• Field based, predominantly covering a region with further UK travel as needed.
• Responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of testing equipment and instrumentation, including impact, tensile, universal, fatigue, stress, or torsion testing.
• Work within various manufacturing sectors including aerospace, automotive, and medical.
• Ensure equipment is correctly calibrated and maintained to UKAS standards.
• Compile detailed reports as appropriate.
• The field based nature will require nights away from home, average 1–2 per week.

• Knowledge of materials testing equipment (impact, tensile, universal, fatigue, stress, or torsion testing) or load cells with integrated systems (checkweighers, weighbridges, etc.).
• Strong engineering understanding in mechanical, electrical, and fluid disciplines.
• Approachable, honest, team player.
• Strong IT and communication skills.
• Full valid UK driving licence; right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).
