Senior Cost Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor - NEC Contracts

We are currently seeking personable, enthusiastic, and energetic individuals to join our contract and cost management team to support our growth and make a difference in the energy transition in the UK.

Role Overview

You will be a Senior Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor within our UK Energy & Natural Resources business working on a variety of client and Turner & Townsend projects and initiatives.

Key Accountabilities
  • Establish friendly, professional and appropriate relationships with clients, colleagues and other parties involved in the projects and programmes we support.
  • Administer contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
  • Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion in line with budget.
  • Proactively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring applications are made correctly and timely.
  • Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage delivery of project deliverables, KPIs, objectives, including programme performance, cost control and value engineering.
  • Manage contract change effectively, ensuring projects remain within governance and adopt best practice.
  • Drive improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets.
  • Provide sound commercial knowledge and support to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure that final accounts are negotiated and agreed.
  • Commission management as needed.

Qualifications
