Senior Quantity Surveyor (M&E) – Bristol

Salary: £70,000-£95,000 + Benefits + Bonus

A leading building services contractor is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (M&E) to take commercial responsibility for major mechanical and electrical projects across Bristol. This role suits someone who combines technical expertise with strong commercial instincts and enjoys working on complex, high‑value schemes.

• Cost Management – Lead cost planning, forecasting, and financial control across multiple M&E packages.

• Contract Administration – Manage NEC/JCT contracts, variations, change control, and claims.

• Procurement & Subcontract Management – Oversee procurement, negotiate subcontract packages, and manage supply chain performance.

• Commercial Reporting – Produce accurate CVRs, valuations, and monthly commercial reports.

• Risk & Opportunity Management – Identify commercial risks and opportunities to protect and enhance project margins.

• Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to support successful project delivery.

• Strong experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor
  , ideally at Senior level.

• Background working for an M&E contractor or building services specialist.

• Excellent understanding of NEC and JCT contract forms.

• Confident communicator with strong negotiation and analytical skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

• £70,000-£95,000 base salary

Bristol (with occasional travel to project sites)
