Senior Quantity Surveyor (M&E) – Bristol
Salary: £70,000-£95,000 + Benefits + Bonus

A leading building services contractor is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (M&E) to take commercial responsibility for major mechanical and electrical projects across Bristol. This role suits someone who combines technical expertise with strong commercial instincts and enjoys working on complex, high‑value schemes.
Key ResponsibilitiesCost Management – Lead cost planning, forecasting, and financial control across multiple M&E packages.
Contract Administration – Manage NEC/JCT contracts, variations, change control, and claims.
Procurement & Subcontract Management – Oversee procurement, negotiate subcontract packages, and manage supply chain performance.
Commercial Reporting – Produce accurate CVRs, valuations, and monthly commercial reports.
Risk & Opportunity Management – Identify commercial risks and opportunities to protect and enhance project margins.
Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to support successful project delivery.
Strong experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor
, ideally at Senior level.Background working for an M&E contractor or building services specialist.
Excellent understanding of NEC and JCT contract forms.
Confident communicator with strong negotiation and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
£70,000-£95,000 base salary

Clear progression to Managing QS or Commercial Manager
Bristol (with occasional travel to project sites)
