The OpportunityA leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Safety Engineer to support major defence and nuclear programmes across the UK. You will contribute to high-impact projects, shaping safety case strategy from early concept through to operational delivery and decommissioning.
The RoleThis role would suit candidates working in these roles;
Safety Engineer, Nuclear Safety Case Engineer, Safety Case Consultant, Risk Engineer, Functional Safety Engineer, Reliability Engineer, Systems Safety Engineer, Nuclear Engineer, Compliance Engineer, Assurance Engineer. We would also welcome applications from these industries;
Candidates from civil nuclear, defence, marine engineering, oil and gas, and other high-hazard regulated sectors are encouraged to apply.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive safety case documentation for complex nuclear and defence systems
- Ensure all deliverables align with regulatory requirements, safety standards, budgets, and programme schedules
- Present technical outputs to regulatory bodies
