A fast-growing European defence & security technology business, who develop autonomous systems and unmanned platforms, is hiring a Systems Safety Specialist to support safety‑critical programmes from early concept through to certification.
Role responsibility- Own & maintain hazard logs, safety requirements and safety assurance evidence
- Lead Functional Hazard Assessment & Functional Hazard Analysis activity and workshops
- Produce and contribute to safety cases and certification artefacts
- Deliver FMEA/FMECA, failure mode, criticality and maintainability inputs
- Proven systems safety background in aerospace, defence, UAS/UAV, automotive or other safety‑critical domains
- Working knowledge of standards such as ARP
4754A / ARP
4761 & DEF STAN 00-056 - (Nice-to-have) ISO 26262 / IEC 61508
- Strong stakeholder skills, proven ability to influence engineering teams and programme leadership
We have 2 positions available (Senior – Senior Principal), for a Senior Principal position you MUST have proven experience working from concept within a demonstrator role.
