We’re excited to offer an incredible opportunity for an Engineer to join our dedicated and professional food production Engineering team in Bristol.

Working Hours:6am – 6pm, 6pm – 6am Rotating Days and Nights

Salary:c.£53,000 per year (£24.38 per hour)
Location:Bristol
Your Duties Will Include:- Perform planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal line performance.
- Diagnose and resolve breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Maintain product safety and quality by adhering to GMP and hygienic engineering standards.
- Promote sustainability and efficiency through responsible resource use and process improvements.
- Ensure systems remain compliant, audit-ready, and aligned with regulatory and industry standards.
- Accurately document all maintenance activities in the CMMS and communicate effectively during shift handovers.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis to enhance reliability and performance.
- Support team development by sharing expertise and mentoring apprentices.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a similar role either as an Engineering Shift Technician, Maintenance Engineer, etc.
- Relevant Industry Qualification e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Previous experience in a food environment is beneficial but not essential
