We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing Water Team in our Bristol office - whilst also taking advantage of our flexible hybrid working model.
The team is delivering an exciting portfolio of water programmes and projects through long-term frameworks with key clients including Wessex Water, South West Water, Southern Water and Thames Water. As part of our thriving business, you’ll take on rewarding multi-disciplinary projects from inception to delivery, creating innovative solutions that enhance the environment and improve communities.

Here’s what you’ll do:
- Collaborate: Work closely with our team of engineers, hydraulic modellers, environmental scientists, and technical specialists to deliver a wide range of projects within the UK and overseas. You will deliver to a high level of quality and liaise with clients to develop scope, price proposals and communicate project progress.
- Deliver: Produce feasibility studies, outline designs, detailed designs, reports and technical specifications.
- Quality: Ensure compliance of design with all applicable standards and regulations and provide technical expertise for interdisciplinary analytical studies.
- Mentor: Provide mentorship for junior team members, setting a positive example and contributing to their technical development as engineers.

Qualifications- Proven experience within the water sector at senior level.
- Chartered, incorporated or working towards chartered status with a relevant institution e.g. ICE, CIWEM.
- Experience of undertaking engineering assessments, options appraisals, engineering calculations and/or economic appraisals.
- Experience of outline and/or detailed design, preferably of wastewater or water treatment schemes or flood risk management, assessment or drainage schemes.
