Are you a commercially-astute finance professional ready to step into a pivotal leadership role within a dynamic and growing SME? We’re partnering with an ambitious Bristol-based business to appoint a Head of Finance who will drive financial strategy, strengthen core processes, and play a key role in shaping future growth.

As Head of Finance, you will be the financial backbone of the organisation, partnering with the leadership team to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning. This is a hands-on role with broad responsibility across financial planning, reporting, compliance, and performance management.

• Lead the finance function with ownership of management accounts, forecasting and budgeting
• Produce accurate and timely financial reporting and board packs
• Drive annual planning, scenario modelling and cashflow forecasting
• Ensure robust financial controls and compliance with statutory requirements
• Partner with commercial teams to add insight into profitability, pricing and cost management
• Manage and develop finance team members (accountants/analysts)
• Oversee relationships with external stakeholders (auditors, banks, tax advisors)

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience
• Strong commercial mindset with experience in an SME / high-growth environment
• Hands-on experience owning month-end close and management reporting
• Excellent communicator capable of building credibility across all levels
• Proven ability to influence business decisions with insight and clarity
• Comfortable leading and improving finance processes and systems
