Group Tax Manager

A standout opportunity for a commercially minded tax professional (c.3–5 years PQE) to step into a broad, high-impact Group role within a fast-growing, private equity-backed business.

This is not a pure compliance position — you’ll operate at the centre of the organisation, partnering with senior stakeholders, shaping tax strategy, and influencing key commercial decisions across multiple international jurisdictions.

You’ll take ownership of the Group’s tax agenda, ensuring robust governance while supporting growth, transactions and operational activity.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the Group’s tax strategy, policy and risk framework
• Managing direct and indirect tax compliance across multiple international territories
• Owning and evolving the transfer pricing model, supporting implementation across the business
• Preparing Group IFRS tax provisions, forecasting and audit support
• Acting as the senior tax contact for business projects, providing clear, commercially focused guidance
• Presenting tax updates to the Audit Committee and senior leadership
• Overseeing SAO processes, HMRC risk reviews and overseas tax audits
• Managing relationships with external advisors and foreign tax authorities, including negotiations where required
• Ensuring tax advice is practically embedded into operations, translating technical issues for non-tax stakeholders
• Building strong relationships with the Executive team to keep tax front-of-mind in strategic decision-making

• ACA / CTA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• 3–5 years’ PQE, ideally from a leading practice or international group
• Experience across multi-jurisdictional tax environments
• Strong communicator with a commercial, business-partnering mindset
• Ambition to take ownership and operate in a fast-paced, PE-backed setting
