Role overview
Godfrey Wilson is a charity‑specialist accountancy practice based in Bristol. We are currently looking for new team members to join us as Charity‑specialist Trainee Auditors on a 3‑year work‑study programme designed to lead to ACA qualification.
About youA good academic record – studying for the ACA qualification is challenging. We are looking for candidates with a good degree (2:1 or above), solid A‑level results and a minimum of a Grade B/Grade 6 in GCSE Maths and English.
A passion for charities is essential – it runs through everything we do. At Godfrey Wilson, an audit isn’t just about ticking boxes, it’s about using your skills to make a difference: strengthening governance, identifying efficiencies and challenging embedded practices. Your work will help our charity clients grow and evolve and ultimately become more effective.
You need excellent attention to detail, be eager to learn, progress, take on responsibility, and be a great problem solver. You will be in a client‑facing role, so delivering a great client experience through exceptional written and verbal communication is key.
