We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist to join our Adult Therapies department in Bristol. This role focuses on providing acute in-patient respiratory physiotherapy services. ResponsibilitiesAs a Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist - Acute In-patient Respiratory you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive respiratory assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for in-patient adults with acute respiratory conditions. This includes providing airway clearance techniques, breathing exercises, and patient education to improve respiratory function and overall health. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Additionally, you will maintain accurate patient records, participate in clinical audits, and contribute to the development of respiratory services. Your role will also involve mentoring junior staff and students, promoting best practices and continuous professional development.
- Degree in Physiotherapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Proven experience in acute in-patient respiratory physiotherapy.
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and intervention for respiratory conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in respiratory physiotherapy.
